Tuba Washed

Tuba, Benguet is situated between our Surftown home in La Union, and Baguio City, a commercial and political center of the Cordillera region. This coffee is the product of cooperation between local farming communities, and Kapi Tako/Cordillera Green Network, whose purpose of reforestation is expressed through coffee production. In regions such as Tuba, where mining poses questions about sustainability, coffee production offers one answer to communities looking for sources of livelihood more in tune with nature. As for the taste of this coffee: expect a round sweetness, pleasant tartness, and mild brightness.
