Mankayan Washed

Although mining is the main industry in Mankayan, coffee farming offers an alternative livelihood for this community in northern Benguet. Coffee trees benefit from the shade of other vegetation, and in high elevations the beans develop a distinctly sweet flavour. Though challenging to process in water-scarce areas, our priority is to encourage farmers to keep pursuing quality coffee hand in hand with reforestation.

Our latest single origin from the Cordilleras is Mankayan Washed. Roasted precisely to achieve a buttery and sweet taste profile, we are proud to continue working with Kapi Tako in bringing quality Benguet beans to your home.
